On June 2, 2025, music mogul Rick Ross received a congressional proclamation from Georgia Congresswoman Nikema Williams, recognizing his significant contributions to the state. Though Miami-born, Ross has established deep ties in Georgia through various philanthropic and business endeavors. The proclamation highlights Ross’s annual Car & Bike Show, held at his Promiseland estate in Fayetteville, which has become a major attraction for locals and tourists. Additionally, his investments in Wingstop franchises, real estate, and initiatives like the “Boss Up” conferences supporting HBCUs across Georgia were acknowledged. The ceremony took place during a VIP media event at Atlanta’s Luc Belaire Creative Space, where Ross previewed the upcoming fourth installment of his Car & Bike Show, scheduled for June 7. The event is expected to draw around 8,000 attendees, including celebrities, entertainers, and CEOs, fostering a vibrant networking environment. Expressing his gratitude, Ross stated, “First and foremost, I gotta thank… God is great! I have to thank Miss Williams and everybody [who] made this happen. I’m grateful. Let’s keep working, let’s keep going, thank you.” This honor coincides with the 20th anniversary of Ross’s debut album, “Port of Miami,” which he plans to celebrate with a nationwide symphonic tour.
