Halle Bailey has been granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of her 16-month-old son, Halo, amid serious allegations of abuse against her ex-partner, rapper DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.). The court’s decision, effective until a hearing on June 4, 2025, also includes a temporary restraining order requiring DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from both Bailey and Halo, prohibiting any form of contact, and barring him from possessing firearms . One incident in January 2025 reportedly involved DDG pulling Bailey’s hair and slamming her face into a steering wheel, resulting in a chipped tooth. In addition to the restraining order, Bailey has requested that DDG have no visitation rights with Halo, except for supervised visits once a week for six hours in Los Angeles.
